WELCOME TO
"FOR THE LOVE OF LABRADORS"
My goal with this blog is for you to enjoy your time here. Most of the posts talk about my experiences raising my two yellow Labrador Retrievers, some are just for fun, and others share the best dog related information and products I have found.

Use the tabs above for quick navigation. I have imbedded links for as much as possible so that you can find the resources easily from this blog. The links in the side bar are for websites that have been helpful to me. I hope that you find them useful for you and your canine "family member"

Can't a girl get a little privacy ...?

Even the bathroom is not sacred in our house. I'm sure many of you with "fur children" will be able to relate to these photos. At the very least, you'll be able to laugh with me.

"A little privacy would be nice!"

"What did you expect, roses?"

One of my dogs is convinced there is a secret exit to the bathroom and if she doesn't sit and whine outside the door, I will disappear forever.

Hahaha... yep, I understand completely. Every day when I step out of the shower, there's Willow, waiting on the bath mat for me. Sometimes she'll get extra worried about me, and she'll push the shower curtain over so she can peek in at me.

And it's not even just me! If there are guests over and they don't get the bathroom door shut just right, she'll barge in and keep them company.

Stella, on the other paw, is not quite as interested - unless she's allowed to climb into the bathtub and lick the faucets. :-)

We like to jump in the tub when Mom goes into the bathroom. This means that the tub is perpetually dirty and she has to clean it all the time. Now she has begun to sneak off and close the door right on our noses. Hmph.

Wags!

I agree with you. Our hooman should learn to give us more privacy.
